Our Recruiting Fair for the 2003-04 school year
will be held December 5-8, 2002 in Boston, Mass. If you are interested in

AASSA RECRUITING
The Association of American Schools
in South America (AASSA) seeks qualified educators to fill positions in
private schools located throughout South America. Schools vary in size and
offer a predominately U.S. based curriculum. In general, two year contracts
include housing, medical benefits, shipping allowance, transportation, home
leave and competitive salaries.
Typically, between 25 to 30 schools
attend the fair, interviewing for approximately 100-150 positions. Candidates
should be certified or eligible for certification. The amount of required
experience varies from school to school, but in most cases is 2+ years full-time
at the K-12 level.
If you are interested in attending the
2002 fair and meet the qualifications outlined above, please submit your
application no later than November 20, 2002. We will begin sending out invitations
in September. If you are invited and you register to attend the fair, there
is a $225.00 registration fee which should be paid to AASSA by check (in
US Dollars only) prior November 20th. After November 20th, registration
fee is $250.00 and personal checks will NOT be accepted. The last day to
cancel with a full refund is November 22, 2002.
We will continue to send out invitations
until the end of November. We will also begin posting job openings on the
website in late September 2002. Please stop by often as we will be updating
this on a regular basis all the way up until the fair.
