AASSA's Payment Processing Service
AASSA offers a payment processing service to its member schools for payment to overseas hires. Payments are processed to accounts in the United States using ACH transfers, whereas payments to accounts in all other countries are done by wire transfer.
AASSA maintains an account for each participating school and the school simply transfers funds to AASSA prior to a payment distribution.
PAYMENT PROCESSING SERVICE FEES
Full Member Member Schools:
- There is a flat fee of $5.00 per ACH or check transaction for payments in the U.S.
- All checks are sent via first class mail. If a check is sent at the schools' request via courier, the school will incur the courier charge.
- Payments processed by wire cost $10.00 per transaction
Non-Member Schools:
- There is a flat fee of $10.00 per ACH or check transaction for payments in the U.S.
- All checks are sent via first class mail. If a check is sent at the school's request via courier, the school will incur the courier charge.
- Payments processed by wire cost $20.00 per transaction
AASSA is not responsible for tax deposits nor do we calculate or provide tax or social security information to the school or its employees.
